What We Learned From 15 Years of Saunas
Our customers prepare their own foundations, using whatever method makes sense for their site. Some sites are flat and straightforward. Others have slopes, rocks, roots, old concrete, or simply ground that isn't perfectly even.
The sauna itself is designed to go together in a predictable way. The challenge is getting the foundation underneath it to the right level.
And sometimes the ground changes after the sauna has already been installed. One part of the foundation can settle more than another, leaving the building slightly out of level. A door that worked perfectly before can start becoming tight.
In those situations, the answer is often simple: the foundation needs to be brought back to level.
